By integrating our own proprietary Trading cash holdings during bad times, we can finance our cash-heavy businesses, cutting out the middleman and increasing profits.

Simultaneously, we are able to avoid having to be overly active in the markets. This prevents the fund from feeling undue pressure to outperform the market, pressure that could be disasterous.
